One More Degree

Sam Parker is the author of 212° the Extra Degree. The first two pages of the book set its intention: “At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. And with boiling water, comes steam . . . and with steam, you can power a train.”

I discovered this powerful book several years ago, and Mr. Parker’s words frequently come to mind when I feel stuck in the moment, or feel as though a project isn’t progressing as well as I want. Often times with one more degree of effort, I can move forward, get unstuck, and make progress.

What could you accomplish with one more degree?

  • Perhaps the sales team would be able to celebrate their progress toward achieving their sales goal with just two more sales calls this week.

Consider having two or three staff members get together as a 212° team, offering each other support and mentorship to move a project forward. Maybe extra effort will prepare a colleague for the additional responsibility they seek.

I’m not suggesting one more degree of effort guarantees getting the exact results you want. However, the extra degree creates momentum . . . and with momentum we move forward.

Moving forward does require accountability and commitment on your part. That’s when an EOS®Implementer, such as myself, comes in. I provide the support and answers you need to keep you razor-focused on your goals.

As we have all probably experienced, the never-ending, day-to-day crises and problems that come up often hijack those goals. I know how it is, because I’ve been in your shoes. EOS® provides a set of simple, practical business tools that help get your business pointed in the right direction.

I invite you to fill out the consult form below and request a free, 15-minute phone consultation with me. Implementing EOS®in my own company was one of the best business decisions I ever made.
